I haven't been officially diagnosed (my rheumatologist is unusure, but leaning towards it... I haven't had any obviously swollen joints, which is part of the problem, I guess). Anyway, back in August, I had a severe allergic reaction requiring an injection of epinephrine (i.e. stress on my body), I came down with bronchitis very soon after (a couple days). Within in a day or two of that, I started getting severe back pain, and with in a week and a half I had pains in my knees, elbows, wrists, hands. My rheumatologist doesn't think the allergic reaction is related, but I don't see how it's not! I've read so many stories where people mention a stressful event that triggered the onset of RA.<BR/><BR/>I lost 8 pounds within the first 8 weeks of having symptoms. I am so, so fatigued that I have to go lay down after doing small tasks. I am stiff for 1-2 hours after waking up most mornings, and on bad days, I shuffle around and can barely get down my stairs, because my knees are so stiff. <BR/><BR/>How do you get through your days? How do you meet the needs of your children? How do you have the energy to do what you need to do?
